Natural Rustic Tones with Apple Accents

To continue our theme of very unique decorative pieces, I just had to share this design idea by the always amazing Borrowed & Blue

This featured wedding showcases an incredibly saavy and natural way to use an item such as apples (yes, apples) and turn them into a focal point of your reception.

Why do we love it? We love it because it is these types of non-chalant yet distinctive details that will have our guests raving about your wedding and which you can proudly say "ah yes that was my wedding"!

Paper Flower DIY Wedding Decorations

One of my signature trademarks is crafting unique design and decorative concepts for weddings and events. I  don't want designs to only earn a beautiful remark, I want them to be distinct.

The other day it occurred to me what would be more unique than paper flower decorations ? In particular for small venues and intimate affairs. I love flowers, they are likely my favorite part of the design process in weddings. Vermont is home to so many beautiful flowers, how can one exclude them? In many cases, the flowers make and pull together the entire design concept for a wedding.

However, what would complement natural flowers better than a gorgeous background of paper flowers to pull together a soft, romantic look? It is also a budget friendly decoration idea and most importantly it can be done with your friends over a delicious glass of wine.

Underrated Honeymoon Destinations

After all that planning, effort and strategy that went into creating just about the best day ever, a vacation is well earned. I am personally a firm believer in honeymoons. In the last few years, it's been a trend to take them much later after the wedding or just set them aside completely.

While there are many reasons why this could happen, I believe if you can creatively find a way to take one, even if to a local and nearby gateway, it is well worth it and you will believe me!

We took our honeymoon to Maine due to time restrictions but it was such a fun vacation and I'd do it all over again. To help you get some ideas, here are some underrated but just beautiful destinations to consider while searching for that sweet honeymoon spot. Some nearby, some far, far away.
